Sam Albassit a registered Psychologist, established SPEC in 2003 and is the Principal psychologist of the business.
Sam is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is on the Committee of the Sydney Performance Psychology Group (SPPG). Sam was also on the National Executive Committee of the College of Sport Psychologists were he held the position of National Student Representative for the College in 2004.
Sam’s working experience ranges from work with junior development to senior elite and professional athletes and organisations.

Sam has also worked with the Australian Deaflympic Team in 2005, and provides services to NSW premier League Soccer teams - Parramatta Melita Eagles, Macarthur Rams and Dulwich Hill Super League Soccer Club.
Also, Sam is the resident Sport Psychologist for the Sydney Academy of Sport and provides his services as part of the Talented Athletes Program (TAP) for Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Swimming, Netball and Rugby League squads.
In addition, Sam has worked with NRL referees and officials through the Illawarra Academy of Sport, and has worked with the Penrith Panthers Junior Rugby League coaches and the Western Suburbs Junior Development Program.
Sam has also lectured for the Australian Tennis Professionals Coaches Association’s level 2 coaching course.
